**Qualifications and Responsibilities:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced coach to lead our middle school boys lacrosse team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record of success in coaching high school and/or college sports.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Program Coordination:** Collaborate with coaches across varsity, junior varsity, and middle school levels to develop and implement effective team strategies.
- **Player Development:** Supervise and mentor players to enhance their skills and performance.
- **Scheduling and Logistics:** Work with the Director of Athletics and regional coaches to establish game schedules and ensure seamless coordination.
- **Practice Planning:** Design and implement practice sessions focused on enhancing specific skills and improving team performance.
- **Communication and Team Management:** Keep players and parents informed about team expectations, schedules, and training opportunities.
- **Motivation and Leadership:** Motivate players to excel by setting objectives and offering assistance during challenging periods.
- **Game Strategy and Scouting:** Prepare game strategies and scout opponents to ensure competitive advantage.
- **Multi-Sport Management:** Collaborate with other coaches to manage schedules for student athletes involved in multiple sports.
**Work Environment:**
The physical demands of the job require the employee to:
- Sit frequently, use hands, reach, talk, and hear
- Stand, walk, and climb stairs on a regular basis
- Travel between campuses using a personal vehicle
- Have specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, and color vision
- Adjust focus and possess depth perception
- Work with various equipment like phones, computers, cameras, and other electronic devices
- Lift boxes/items under 30 lbs using muscles/limbs
- Occasionally work nights and weekends to support school activities
