Job Title: Construction Project Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Assistant to join our team at Layton Construction Company, LLC.

About the Role:

The Construction Project Assistant will provide administrative support to our project teams, ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project engineers, managers, and superintendents with daily tasks and projects
  • Process and distribute project documents, including RFIs, submittals, and pay applications
  • Collect and organize bid information, and prepare project review packages
  • Assist in publishing weekly progress reports and follow up on receipt, review, and distribution of project information
  • Research construction problems and update project schedules as needed
  • Assist in bidding and developing scope of work for trade contractors
  • Maintain logs reflecting the status of shop drawings, requests for clarification, change requests, and proposal requests

Requirements:

  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in University
  • Prior internship preferred but not necessary
  • Construction industry experience preferred
