Service Desk Consultant Job Description

Aegistech is seeking a skilled Service Desk Consultant to join our team. As a Service Desk Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client support incidents and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of technical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall IT service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of various software applications, hardware devices, and network technologies.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on computer operation and management.
  • Manage and track support tickets to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of network technologies, including Local Area Networks, Home Networks, and VPNs.
