We are seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at Frito-Lay. As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our drivers.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
- Manage parts inventory and charge parts and labor to work orders
- Assist entry-level mechanics with difficult repairs
- Build relationships with vendors for parts and labor estimates
- 3 years of previous experience with gas or light-duty diesel engine repair
- Ability to read pneumatic and electrical drawings
- Major and minor electrical troubleshooting and maintenance
- Brake systems and air systems knowledge
- Ability to work in tight spaces and lift 50 pounds or more
