Fleet Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at Frito-Lay. As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
  • Manage parts inventory and charge parts and labor to work orders
  • Assist entry-level mechanics with difficult repairs
  • Build relationships with vendors for parts and labor estimates
Requirements:
  • 3 years of previous experience with gas or light-duty diesel engine repair
  • Ability to read pneumatic and electrical drawings
  • Major and minor electrical troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Brake systems and air systems knowledge
  • Ability to work in tight spaces and lift 50 pounds or more
