We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as our Director of Social & Emotional Learning and Universal PreK. As the Chief Learning Officer, you will be responsible for leading our district's efforts in social-emotional learning and universal pre-kindergarten programs.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Job Description

The Director of Social & Emotional Learning and Universal PreK will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our social-emotional learning and universal pre-kindergarten programs. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing curriculum and instructional materials for social-emotional learning and universal pre-kindergarten programs;
  • Providing professional development opportunities for teachers and staff on social-emotional learning and universal pre-kindergarten best practices;
  • Collaborating with other district leaders to ensure alignment between social-emotional learning and universal pre-kindergarten programs and other district initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NYS certification in SDA or SDL;
  • Experience leading social-emotional learning and universal pre-kindergarten programs;
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and community members.
