Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician/Mechanic

Salary: $56,000.00 - $61,500.00 Annually

As a key member of the Street Department, the Equipment Maintenance Technician/Mechanic will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a variety of engines, systems, and equipment. This will involve performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and that all safety protocols are followed
  • Collaborate with other department members to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or automotive technology
  • 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of engines, systems, and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
