Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Stryten Energy. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers, ensuring their battery needs are met with efficiency and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on battery handling equipment, chargers, and batteries to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
- Conduct on-site service calls to diagnose and resolve battery-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their battery needs and provide recommendations for optimal battery performance and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in battery technology to ensure expertise and provide informed guidance to customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and management to provide exceptional service and support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in the battery industry or related field.
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with hazardous material endorsements within 180 days of hire date.
- Forklift Training Certification or ability to obtain.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals and documents.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Field Service Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a variety of settings, including industrial and commercial environments, and be comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment.
The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with customers, dealers, and management.
