About the Job

Patient Care Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients at AEG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service by welcoming patients and ensuring all check-in and checkout processes are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • First Impressions Matter: Acknowledge and greet patients, customers, and vendors in a friendly and welcoming manner, setting the tone for a positive experience.
  • Communication is Key: Answer and respond to telephone inquiries in a professional and timely manner, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, gather patient and insurance information, and verify demographics to ensure accurate records.
  • Insurance and Billing: Verify and enter patient insurance information, maintain a clear understanding of insurance plans, and prepare insurance claims and reports to ensure all charges are billed and filed correctly.
  • Administrative Support: Prepare forms for patients, collect and document charges, co-pays, and payments, and allocate balances to insurance as needed.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a clean workspace, practice economy in the use of resources, and perform other duties as needed and assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, basic computer literacy, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Communication and Confidentiality: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to maintain patient and practice confidentiality.
Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to communicate and exchange information, utilize equipment necessary to perform the job, and move about the office.
