About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Systems Analyst to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in enhancing the semantic capabilities of our CDE-R system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of detailed technical plans for the implementation of automated or semi-automated assignment of standard terminology concepts to CDEs.
  • Collaborate with CDE-R software developers to resolve issues with data loads and ensure seamless integration.
  • Edit CDEs and Forms in the Repository to support interoperability and reuse.
  • Align CDEs with existing standards and terminologies, such as USCDI, LOINC, SNOMED CT, FHIR, and others.
  • Explore system enhancements to improve standardized interfaces and facilitate data exchange between systems.
  • Design, develop, and test APIs to share data and produce documentation for internal and external audiences.
  • Support NLM staff in the assessment and planning for the integration of information content from one system to another.
  • Perform search engine development and optimization, and generate reports on usage statistics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum TWO (2) years of experience as a System Analyst with data curation.
  • Knowledge of 508 compliance.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis using SAS, R, or Python.
