Job Title: Senior IT Project Engineer

Parachute Technology is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and implementing IT projects, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and fully document IT projects
  • Be the escalation point for other IT Systems Engineers and Service Desk Engineers
  • Advise the Technical Account Manager with service requirements and specifications to better address client goals and needs
  • Take ownership of IT infrastructure and day-to-day operations for clients
  • Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets
  • Manage and respond to escalated client inquiries
  • Prepare and implement advanced hardware and software for clients
  • Determine equipment and software procurement needs for clients
  • Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations
  • Manage entire IT infrastructure for our largest clients
  • Provide professional and personable on-site and remote support
  • Travel to customer locations. Valid license and insurance are required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in the IT support industry working with business environments
  • Experience with ConnectWise a major plus
  • Formal education in IT preferred
  • Associates degree required with an IT related field of study
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certificates (preferred): Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA in Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016, Microsoft 365: Microsoft Enterprise Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Associate (VCA)
