Job Title: Surgical Technologist

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Elk Mills, Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide exceptional patient care and environmental cleaning in the operating rooms. As a Surgical Technologist, you will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patient care team in transferring patients to and from beds/stretchers
  • Position patients on Procedure Area tables or hold extremities for skin prep
  • Transport patients to and from Procedure Areas or departments
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment in the operating rooms
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer skills
  • BLS certification
  • Able to work flexible hours for training and support of the needs of the unit
