Job Title: Surgical Technologist

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Elk Mills, Maryland.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our surgical team in providing exceptional patient care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, maintaining equipment, and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including positioning patients and handling instruments
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room
  • Restock supplies and equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
