Surgical Technologist Job Description

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Elk Mills, Maryland.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist our surgical team in providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in the operating room
  • Monitor and report any issues or concerns to the surgical team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
  • BLS certification
  • 1 year of experience in a surgical setting
