Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in architectural tasks within a vibrant environment under the guidance of firm leaders and project managers.
  • Provide mentorship and support to our architectural design team to meet project objectives.
  • Conduct architectural design, design development, and documentation processes.
  • Prepare, modify, and review drawings in accordance with established standards.
  • Evaluate architectural documents from developers for compliance with design standards.
  • Ensure quality assurance for documentation across all phases, adhering to established QA/QC and Best Practice Standards.
  • Communicate design intent and conduct product and code research for technical documentation.
  • Assist in Feasibility Studies, Concept Design, Programming, and Master Planning initiatives.
  • Deliver construction administration services, overseeing project completion.
  • Generate As-Built drawing sets for client delivery.
  • Utilize digital rendering and 3D modeling techniques.
  • Create concept diagrams and develop 2D images.
  • Coordinate project information among clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the construction team.
  • Produce graphics and research materials for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Guide and mentor Junior Designers in resolving technical and design detail challenges.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited institution is required. A Master of Architecture (MArch) degree is preferred. An Architecture License is mandatory.

Experience: A design professional with 5-10 years of experience in architecture, architectural design/documentation, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in the following software tools is essential:

  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • SketchUp
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of Sustainability Requirements, including USGBC/LEED standards.

Soft Skills: Candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Strong knowledge of design principles.
  • Ability to interpret design concepts and layouts, including commonly-used architectural standards and practices.
  • Familiarity with building regulations, life-safety codes, and design techniques.
  • Creative and technical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within budget and time constraints.
  • Strong design skills as evidenced by a portfolio of work.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to foster relationships and collaborate with diverse parties.
  • Comprehensive practical knowledge.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and project leadership skills.
