Job Title: Principal Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software systems that support our cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software systems that meet the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless system operation
  • Develop and maintain software documentation and technical guides
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform software development decisions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • Proven track record of designing and developing software systems that meet customer needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Certifications in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
