- Document Patient Information: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
- Prescribe and Monitor Medication: Develop and implement medication plans to support patient recovery and well-being.
- Provide Supervision and Instruction: Mentor and educate residents on psychiatric diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders.
- Licensed Physician in Illinois: Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry: Must be board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Experience in Community Health: At least 3 years of experience in community health or with a similar patient population while in training is preferred.
