Ropes Course Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Ropes Course Attendant at Great Wolf Lodge. As a key member of our adventure park team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our guests while they navigate our ropes course.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register guests and process orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide education and guidance on the ropes course experience, proper technique, and safety guidelines
  • Supply and outfit participants with correct safety equipment, making adjustments as needed
  • Inspect safety equipment to ensure proper function and identify any potential issues
  • Assess and respond to emergency situations, providing assistance and support as needed
  • Ensure daily operations adhere to operating procedure guidelines and maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service and engage in suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience
  • Assist with merchandising functions, including display and store design, inventory receiving, stocking, and merchandise pricing
  • Perform cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers, and daily reporting

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Some High School education or equivalent
  • Comfortable working at heights of 30 feet or more for extended periods
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands
  • Basic math skills and ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
