Automotive Service Technician

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is a leading provider of automotive services, with a strong presence across 19 states. Our team of experienced technicians is trained to deliver premium total-car care, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality parts. In addition to oil changes, our services include specialty services, tire services, and mechanical repairs, all designed to provide a seamless customer experience.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including basic and advanced car maintenance and repair, inspecting vehicles for potential issues, and troubleshooting problems to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
- Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Perform skilled mechanical work, analyzing and diagnosing problems to deliver high-quality results.
- Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts, while performing preventative maintenance on automobiles.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical information and techniques, ensuring expertise in rapidly evolving automotive technology.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, managers, and suppliers.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician with a minimum of 2 years' experience in automotive service, mechanics, or engine diagnostics. ASE Certification is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to work Saturdays.
Additional requirements include:
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
- Physical ability to perform prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending, as well as exerting 50-100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10-25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
