We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Patient Services Coordinator for a thriving Dermatology practice.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with no weekend or major holiday shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients warmly and maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, along with scheduling follow-up visits.
- Accurately gather and update patient demographic information.
- Confirm insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
- Handle collection of co-pays and outstanding balances.
- Prepare charts, scan and index medical records, and perform additional tasks as required.
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is essential.
- Proficiency in insurance verification and eligibility processes is required.
- Comfortable with collecting co-pays, deductibles, and balances.
- Excellent phone manners and customer service skills are necessary.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is preferred but not mandatory.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Medical: Minimal out-of-pocket expenses for services provided by the organization, with standard PPO benefits for secondary providers.
