The Area Quality Assurance Lead plays a pivotal clinical role within our operational framework.
Compensation Structure
Non-London: £46,800
London: £54,700
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the National Clinical Audit Lead to comprehend the quality benchmarks required.
- Ensure compliance with the CHDA clinical quality assurance framework.
- Oversee the execution of the clinical quality assurance program within the designated operational area, including managing formal audit processes.
- Ensure that Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Clinical Standards Practitioners are well-versed in QA standards.
- Conduct clinical audits and case reviews as necessary.
- Mentor and assess the performance of Clinical Standards Practitioners and HCPs in their case review and formal clinical audit duties.
- Gather local trends and report findings to the national clinical audit lead to formulate solutions for continuous improvement in clinical standards.
- Engage in meetings with area colleagues and the national clinical advisory team to exchange knowledge and best practices, fostering improvements across CHDA.
- Perform sufficient assessments to maintain professional registration and adapt flexibly to the business's needs.
- Act as a registered healthcare practitioner (nurse, physician, physiotherapist, occupational therapist) in a CHDA assessment environment or equivalent.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, establishing positive relationships with medical colleagues and administrative staff.
- Demonstrate professional skills and manage personal accountability in accordance with the governing body's Code of Conduct.
- Adhere to all continuous professional development requirements.
- Effectively coach and mentor HCPs to enhance and sustain performance standards.
- Ensure that professional practice standards and best practices are upheld in all work areas.
- Meet productivity and quality benchmarks agreed upon between the Centre and the DWP, responding constructively to feedback.
- Possessing qualifications to deliver Stage 3 training is advantageous.
- Qualified to conduct CHDA case audits and instruct on writing reports that meet A-grade standards.
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability.
- Understand, anticipate, and address immediate and medium-term customer and client needs.
- Collaborate effectively with others to foster a performance-driven culture.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms, tailoring communication to the audience's needs, and interact constructively with diverse groups.
- Maintain professionalism in challenging interactions.
