Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Monitor bank accounts and manage cash availability to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, balance sheets, and income statements to inform business decisions
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and annual property reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain tenant ledgers and property rent rolls, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records
  • Abstract and input commercial leases into Yardi, our property management software
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statement packages to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on real estate accounting
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with Yardi Voyager software
