Job Title: CNC Machinist III

Industrial Kinetics, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to join our team. As a CNC Machinist III, you will be responsible for the machining, fabrication, and assembly of products in accordance with applicable drawings and assembly procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture parts, sub-assemblies, and units to exact specifications.
  • Operate and setup manual equipment, including lathes, mills, and drill presses.
  • Program and operate CNC lathes.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair.
  • Use hand tools and assemble parts as required.
  • Maintain and fix shop tools and equipment.
  • Organize inventory and shop equipment.
  • Operate cranes and forklifts upon proper certification.
  • Perform all operations according to prescribed safety principles.
  • Keep assigned area neat and orderly.
  • Record labor into ERP system.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency operating, setting up, and programming manual and CNC equipment.
  • Thorough working knowledge of shop math and geometric tolerancing.
  • Knowledge of general hand tool use, including drill presses, chop saws, and band saws.
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions, prints, and sketches.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to variations in assembly with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read measuring devices in English and Metric.
  • Ability to perform work while standing or stooping for long periods of time, and to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
