Customer Service Representative

At United Farm Family Mutual Insurance Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide product and service information to customers, answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by assisting agents and providing office operations support, including scheduling appointments, quoting insurance, and handling cash transactions.
  • Determine the best course of action to resolve customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and provide seamless customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, delivering solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Work with guidance to prioritize and manage activities, ensuring efficient business operations and continuous improvement.
Requirements for Success:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license within two years.
  • Previous insurance or claims experience is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Basic mathematical skills to perform transactions accurately.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
