As a Project Development Intern, you will be part of our comprehensive approach to identifying savings and renewable solution opportunities. We take a holistic look at our client's energy usage to provide personalized recommendations.

This is a paid internship based in Indianapolis, IN, with flexible start and end dates from May to August 2025. You should be available to work up to 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will collaborate with Engineers and Project Managers to provide project support for development, design, construction, and post-construction activities.
  • Assist with energy assessments including baseline profiles, end-use, and retrofit analysis.
  • Analyze utility bill data and sub-meter data for buildings or for building systems.
  • Evaluate project requirements to assess opportunities for energy efficiency.
  • Prepare technical content, proposals, analysis, feasibility reports and provide critical peer review.
  • Foster effective business relationships with all parties throughout project phases.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information. You should have advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, and excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.

We offer competitive salary and benefits package including estimated $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
