We are seeking a highly skilled Product Portfolio Marketing Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work backwards from the customer to define AWS product portfolio positioning, activities, and milestones.
  • Use data to drive decisions, and be able to exercise judgment while acting quickly.
  • Identify gaps to implement or optimize cross-team processes that improve efficacy and delivery.
  • Communicate effectively across stakeholders to notify them of project milestones, and process changes.
  • Work at both the strategic and tactical level to champion bold and creative ideas.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, consulting, training, or product marketing/management.
  • 5+ years demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content.
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science OR 7+ years relevant industry experience in marketing of technical products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA and/or computer science, engineering, technology background.
  • 5+ year's experience in product marketing for services targeting end users.
  • Experience with cloud and data center infrastructure technologies.
Compensation

Base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
