Key Responsibilities:- Conduct health education, training, and health promotion activities within our region, focusing on counties with vulnerable populations.
- Develop and distribute culturally and linguistically appropriate content for educational materials, visual aids, presentations, and social media settings.
- Assist the tobacco coordinator with educational tools and presentations, focusing on tobacco, nicotine delivery systems, and other relevant topics.
- Foster and build sustainable and meaningful relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including participating in disaster response and recovery efforts.
- Knowledge of health education communication and strategies to address health disparities and advance health equity.
- Ability to operate a computer and software applications, as well as communicate effectively with lay community members and professional audiences.
- Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions, as well as exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate constructively and respectfully.
