About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Architect to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our technology organization, you will play a critical role in developing enterprise data architecture capabilities and standards.

Job Description

This Data Engineering Architect position is aligned with our Chief Data Officer within the Office of the CIO and plays a vital role in incubating new innovative data capabilities and driving their adoption throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with business and product engineering teams to develop and implement data architecture solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on data architecture, defining data standards and best practices to protect and utilize our data assets effectively.
  • Design conceptual and logical data models that enable the implementation of intended business outcomes and reusable, enterprise data products.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data lifecycle management, solutions design, and delivery of enterprise-level data platform solutions.
  • Strong analytical abilities, presentation skills, and organizational/planning abilities.
  • Experience working directly with clients and providing consultation.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Technical experience in modern data platform concepts like lakehouse architecture, delta lake, data fabric, AI/ML.
  • Experience designing conceptual and logical data models that enable the implementation of intended business outcomes and reusable, enterprise data products.
What We Offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including:

  • An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
