Auto Body Repair Specialist

The Auto Body Technician plays a pivotal role in our company's promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence. As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences through the meticulous assessment and quality repair of each customer's vehicle. Your primary responsibility will be to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition, working in alignment with all team members to achieve the repair facility's KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of the WOW plan.
- Plan and prepare cost estimates for customers, using various tools to repair vehicle sections.
- Hammers out dents, dimples, and other minor body damage, mixing and applying filler resins when necessary.
- Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
- Remove and replace damaged vehicle sections with new or aftermarket parts, repairing glass and windshields as needed.
- Replace or repair interior parts, welding and attaching parts into place, and preparing vehicles for repaint.
- Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure all work has been executed correctly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
- Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
- Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
- Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.
- Up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off annually.
