Job Description

Protocol Infrastructure Engineer

We're seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Protocol Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain foundational infrastructure to support the operation of AI and blockchain technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions to ensure the seamless operation and scalability of cutting-edge protocols.
  • Collaborating with protocol participants and developers to understand technical requirements and design infrastructure solutions to meet their needs.
  • Automating deployment, monitoring, and maintenance to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Monitoring system performance and conducting performance tuning to optimize resource utilization and enhance scalability.
  • Implementing security best practices to protect protocol infrastructure from potential threats and vulnerabilities, utilizing secrets management tools to ensure secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Initiating and managing cloud provider instances to support infrastructure needs and utilizing monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolution to ensure high availability and reliability of protocol services.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation and procedures for infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements and trends in infrastructure technologies and recommending innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, preferably in the AI or blockchain space.
  • Proficiency in Linux-based systems administration and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, mainly Python.
  • Strong skills in automation tools and technologies (i.e., Datadog).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge regarding cryptocurrency and/or blockchain principles.
  • Passion for decentralization and exploring new technologies.
