Service Operations Supervisor Opportunity Overview:

As a Service Operations Supervisor at W.W. Williams Company, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating workflows to not only meet but exceed client expectations. You will be tasked with organizing work to achieve departmental goals by ensuring repair orders are completed promptly and accurately. This position involves planning, staffing, and assessing departmental priorities to guarantee that technicians collaborate effectively and are responsible for their designated tasks. You will maintain a schedule that supports the timely execution of service and installation work. The Service Operations Supervisor is committed to ensuring that all scheduled tasks are performed safely and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding service by prioritizing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving service issues; identifying trends; and recommending improvements and systems enhancements.
  • Accurately assign parts and labor costs for clients, particularly in relation to warranty processes.
  • Foster a productive work environment by training staff, ensuring safety, and promoting personal development opportunities.
  • Enhance team performance by clearly communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job outcomes; coaching and mentoring employees; and developing, coordinating, and implementing policies, procedures, and productivity benchmarks.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a heavy truck or fleet service environment.
  • Strong technical acumen is essential.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, is necessary.
