Facilities Maintenance Specialist - Electrical Focus

Employment Type:

Full-time
Work Schedule:
Standard hours: 7am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as necessary.
Compensation:
$23 to $25 per hour
Note: A pre-employment background verification and drug screening are mandatory.

Role Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for diagnosing and rectifying issues with malfunctioning mechanical and electrical systems. Key responsibilities include:
  • Identifying problems with equipment and executing necessary repairs.
  • Conducting minor plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks as required.
  • Implementing preventive maintenance protocols and collaborating with the maintenance lead/manager on outage planning.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Facilities Maintenance Specialist position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; vocational training is highly preferred.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems and basic hydraulics is advantageous.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adhere to established procedures.
  • Must be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Willingness to work various shifts and respond to on-call needs as necessary.

Compensation Details:
