Job Summary

The Restaurant Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and train team members.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operations Coordination

Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations, including managing inventory, supplies, and labor costs.

Team Leadership

Lead your team to success by providing clear direction, feedback, and coaching to ensure they have the tools and support needed to excel.

Customer Service

Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction by responding efficiently and accurately to customer complaints and concerns.

Quality Control

Regularly review product quality and implement measures to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Labor Management

Organize and supervise shifts, staying at prescribed labor budgets while ensuring adequate staffing levels.

Performance Evaluation

Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity and job satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Work Schedule

Able to work 50 hours a week (full-time) or part-time schedule as needed.

Reliability

Reliable transportation is essential for this role.

Leadership Experience

A minimum of 1 year leadership experience is required.

F&B Knowledge

Strong knowledge of food and beverage (F&B) principles, with the ability to recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and front-of-house staff.

Leadership Skills

Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills are essential for this role.

Time Management

Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Financial Acumen

Acute financial management skills to control labor costs and identify measures to cut waste.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing and Walking

Able to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally sitting, balancing, reaching, climbing, crawling, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.

Lifting

Able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
