Ophthalmic Specialist

Altru Health System, a community-owned, integrated healthcare system, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Ophthalmologist to join its team in Grand Forks, ND. As a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, our providers have access to clinically integrated tools extending Mayo Clinic's knowledge and expertise to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat patients with eye injuries or illnesses, providing diagnosis and treatment consistent with Altru's policies and standards.
- Counsel patients on preventative healthcare measures and advise on treatment options.
- Achieve Altru Health System's Patient Engagement and Quality & Safety goals, participating in activities and supporting department goals as defined by the department.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring quality patient care and assurance of appropriate reimbursements to Altru Health System.
- Doctorate in Ophthalmology from an accredited school.
- Must be admissible to sit for the American Board of Ophthalmology or be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
- Be legally licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota, depending on the location of the practice.
