Job Summary:

As a Speech Therapist I, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders under supervision. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders for adult and pediatric populations. Administer diagnostic tests and implement individualized treatments.
  • Advise physicians and patients of disorders and develop treatment schedules. Ensure compliance with regulations and implement department policies.
  • Identify opportunities for new or enhanced services or levels of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Internship required by date of hire.
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology by date of hire.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California), National Provider Identifier, Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate, and Basic Life Support required at hire.
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Work Environment:
  • Primary Location: California, Milpitas, Milpitas 700 Medical Offices.
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24.
  • Shift: Day.
  • Workdays: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
