Key Responsibilities- Provide Counseling Services: Offer counseling services to students and their parents to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Support: Participate in inter-disciplinary meetings to evaluate and discuss the diagnosis and treatment of students.
- Develop and Maintain Schedules: Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services.
- Collaborate with Families and Staff: Collaborate with families and staff to support social and emotional development, including weekly team meetings and follow-up meetings.
- Adhere to Federal/State/Local Procedures: Adhere to federal, state, and local procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines, and procedural safeguards.
- Master's Degree in Psychology: Possess a Master's Degree in Psychology.
- Endorsement as a School Psychologist: Has obtained or is eligible for an endorsement as a School Psychologist as prescribed in the bylaws of the State Department of Education.
- Experience in Pediatric Mental Health: Experience or specialized training in the field of pediatric mental health is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively and courteously both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards.
