Position Overview
As a Mechanical Assembly Specialist at Komatsu America, you will engage in a variety of assembly tasks crucial to the production of our advanced off-road mining vehicles. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute diverse mechanical and electrical assembly operations, including:
- Assembly of hydraulic systems
- Installation and calibration of mechanical components
- Final assembly and testing of vehicle structures
- Interpret engineering schematics and procedures with minimal oversight
- Ensure the quality and safety of your work by adhering to safety protocols and utilizing appropriate protective gear
- Collaborate with Electrical Assemblers on harness installations and cable management, while maintaining quality standards
- Prepare equipment for shipment by disassembling and loading as instructed
- Perform light carpentry tasks as needed, such as constructing boxes and crates
- Utilize information systems effectively to support job functions

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of three years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment sectors
- Relevant experience in aviation, marine mechanics, or HVAC repair involving complex assembly and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints for assembly and troubleshooting
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations and measurements
- Computer literacy for documentation and information retrieval
- A strong commitment to safety in an industrial setting
- Ability to pass a physical assessment in line with industry standards, including drug testing.
