Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will construct, assemble, or rebuild entire products or components according to customer specifications and company work instructions.

Responsibilities

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for:

  • Positioning or aligning components for assembly, manually or using hoists
  • Reworking, repairing, or replacing damaged parts or assemblies
  • Creating or updating assembly work instructions
  • Reading and interpreting assembly blueprints or specifications manuals and planning assembly or building operations
  • Fastening or installing product components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools and power tools
  • Operating safety equipment and using safe work habits
Working Conditions

The Mechanical Assembler will work in a metal fabrication and warehouse environment, with frequent exposure to noises that may be distracting or uncomfortable. The position requires constant use of personal protective equipment and the ability to lift and move 50 lb parts or fixtures.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
  • The ability to lift and move 50 lb parts or fixtures
  • The ability to stoop, bend, and reach overhead to assemble and/or move products
  • The ability to work in a safety-sensitive role, fit for duty, and free of any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol
