About the Role

Cabin Creek Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team in Charleston, West Virginia.

As a Dental Assistant, you will provide exceptional patient care and support our dental team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Estimated Salary: $16.00-$21.00 per hour

About the Job

This is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for assisting dentists and dental hygienists in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients.

You will be responsible for preparing operatory rooms for patient treatment, exposing and developing dental radiographs, performing independent procedures as delegated by the dentist, and maintaining dental department equipment and supplies.

Additional responsibilities include sterilization, preparation, and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies, as well as assisting with various clinical and administrative functions of the center.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Completion of accredited course in dental assisting preferred
  • Ability to attend to multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritize assignments and responsibilities to ensure compliance with established deadlines and protocols
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English
  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
  • Current CPR (BLS) required
