Position Overview:
As the Sustainability and Safety Operations Manager, you will oversee facility operations across multiple locations. This role entails direct management of facility vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing health and safety protocols applicable to all company sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management:
    Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of all sites, addressing operational support needs, including large meetings and events.
  • Oversee all facility and environmental operating permits, ensuring compliance and performance.
  • Manage supplies, services, and amenities, including vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies and oversee vendor performance in various service areas.
  • Provide technical expertise in essential areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing.

Safety Management:
Implement and monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations to protect employees and visitors.

  • Conduct safety audits and employee training.
  • Coordinate hazardous waste registration and disposal.
  • Investigate and report incidents involving employees and visitors.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness and response efforts.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as architecture, engineering, or business.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management, including project management and operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations regarding environmental health and safety.
  • Strong time management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
