Electrical Engineer - Senior

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Business Group in Walnut Creek or Folsom, CA. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the electrical design of facilities across various markets, including Data Center, Technology, Corporate/Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal.

Your expertise will be essential in coordinating and working closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire project life cycle, from planning stages to construction administration. You'll be responsible for developing construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, as well as reviewing shop drawings during construction.

We're looking for a self-motivated, collaborative, and strong leader who can deliver high-quality, technically sound electrical engineering designs. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be expected to:

  • Perform, plan, direct, and monitor work of the electrical design on large institutional/industrial projects
  • Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
  • Coordinate electrical team staffing and workload to complete the project on schedule
  • Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines
  • Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
  • Write/edit electrical specifications and select equipment, electrical systems, and devices
  • Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders
  • Take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents
  • Provide construction contract administration as needed
  • Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Electrical Engineers, Electrical Coordinators, or Technicians
