Job Overview :

As a Sales Route Specialist, you will join the largest baking company globally, part of a family of 20,000 associates nationwide.

  • Base Pay: $20.00/hr. (with potential for career advancement to commission earnings, ranging from $45k to $75k)
  • Work Schedule: Starting at 2 AM with Wednesdays and Sundays off.

Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays, maintaining optimal quality and freshness.
  • Enhance sales by acquiring new display spaces, creating incremental displays, and utilizing sales data to develop store-level strategies.
  • Follow up on new account opportunities and cultivate effective customer relationships while ensuring promotional activities are executed.
  • Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when approaching new customers.
  • Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining accurate inventory counts.
  • Operate the company route truck safely.
  • Complete DOT (US Department of Transportation) daily logs and submit all required documentation, paperwork, and deposits punctually.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Must be capable of climbing, pushing/pulling, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods, as well as performing frequent reaching and using fingers.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) is preferred.
