Lactalis is seeking a skilled professional to join our Maintenance team in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
The PLC Process Control Programmer/Analyst E-tech position will be responsible for the development, management, and enhancement of PLC's, working with contractors on large projects, providing training to other Technicians or supervisors, and being on call during weekends and nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, Motor Control, and Robotics systems.
- Design, program, and manage HMI's and other automation systems.
- Assist with the implementation of new equipment and technologies related to automation and integration.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of automated control systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of experience in modifying, specifying, designing, and implementing automated control systems.
- Background in Allen Bradley PLC programming and familiarity with DeviceNet, ControllNet, and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with Process Control, Sensors, Transducers, and VFD's.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ignition Historian and SQL Database management experience.
- Knowledge of VMware and vSphere.
- Experience with Allen Bradley Micrologix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix lines, Siemens Standard (S7-300) line, Omron NJ501 line, and other PLC systems.
