What You'll Do
As a Process Engineer Intern, you will lead monitoring, auditing and reporting of site process through the use of metrics. You will also lead new and existing process development, implementation, and controls in support of Plexus and customer specific needs at the site. Additionally, you will mentor and train individuals in various processes, required tools, and philosophies.
Responsibilities
- Lead monitoring, auditing and reporting of site process through the use of metrics
- Lead new and existing process development, implementation, and controls in support of Plexus and customer specific needs at the site
- Mentor and train individuals in various processes, required tools, and philosophies
- Support DFx development on new and existing customer projects and request for quote's
- Lead assessments of new components for implementation into the manufacturing process
- Support tool manufacturing/design through implementation of corporate standards
- Support failure analysis
- Support new customer product introductions
- Lead cost reduction projects on specific projects
- Support process qualifications and validations of both new and existing processes
- Support quote activities by reviewing and ensuring all customer technology requirements are met
- Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering program for entire duration of internship
- Junior level status
- GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
