From your PASSION to ours
The Automation Control Specialist role will entail the development, oversight, and enhancement of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This position also involves collaboration with contractors on significant projects, providing training to fellow technicians or supervisors, and being available for on-call duties during weekends and evenings. Responsibilities include assisting with the design, programming, and management of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) along with any additional tasks as required.

From your STORY to ours
Education & Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in modifying, specifying, designing, and implementing automated control systems.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming.
- Familiarity with DeviceNet, ControlNet, and Ethernet protocols.
- Knowledge of process control, sensors, transducers, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Availability for after-hours and weekend support.
- Active participation in new equipment related to automation and integration.
- Preferred knowledge of PLC systems.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with Ignition Historian.
- SQL database management skills.
- Familiarity with VMware and vSphere.
PLCs:
- Experience with Allen Bradley Micrologix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix lines.
- Experience with Siemens Standard (S7-300) line.
- Experience with Omron NJ501 line.
Motor Control:
- Experience with Allen Bradley PowerFlex 750, 500, and 700 lines of VFDs.
- Experience with SEW Eurodrive and Danfoss systems.
Robotics:
- Experience with Fanuc pick & place robotic arms.
- Ability to program, troubleshoot, and repair HMI systems within the facility.
- Capability to write or modify PLC program logic as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and repair peripheral devices, including temperature, pH, flow, and conductivity controllers, as well as VFDs as needed.
