Responsibilities
In the healthcare sector, effective support is essential for success. This role is pivotal in assisting our healthcare teams by ensuring they have the necessary resources to provide excellent patient care. Your contributions will significantly enhance the patient experience during their visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver general nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinic protocols.
- Provide specialized nursing care as required by the specific practice area.
- Secure patient consent for treatments while maintaining confidentiality.
- Gather and document patient health histories, chief complaints, vital signs, and health risk factors.
- Administer patient care in alignment with practice guidelines, standards of care, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Implement prescribed treatments and medical interventions, including administering medications and monitoring patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, preventive care, and management of both acute and chronic illnesses.
- Maintain accurate patient records using established documentation practices.
- Engage in multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care processes and outcomes.
- Monitor quality assurance metrics related to patient care management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Current LPN license in good standing with the state licensing authority.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of an IV Therapy Course.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage of $27.06.
