Job Title: Petroleum Equipment Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Petroleum Equipment Service Technician to join our team at Midwest Petroleum Equipment LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical petroleum equipment and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fuel dispensers and its components
  • Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade POS software
  • Work with PCs and load software
  • Monitor and be accountable for accuracy of parts inventory
  • Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required
  • Install, program, and test new equipment
  • Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in common terms
  • Present yourself in a professional manner and arrive promptly to service calls

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role or possession of transferrable skills required
  • General mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Willingness to learn terminology and processes of the industry
  • High level of attention to detail and urgency
  • Able to climb, lift 50lbs, and pass the DOT physical exam
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required
