The APS Team within Pubtech aids publishers in optimizing monetization and yield. APS facilitates access to Amazon marketing expenditure and extends cloud-based platform technology, enabling publishers to maximize revenue across diverse devices and media channels while improving user experience.
Role Overview:
The APS Strategic Pubs Engineering team is focused on creating product suites that connect significant publishers and walled gardens to Amazon Demand, with the goal of delivering additional value for both Publishers and Amazon Demand.
This position offers the chance to establish a new business venture and shape the future of Amazon advertising in collaboration with a select group of new Publishers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a passion for innovation and delivering high-quality products.
- Exhibit proficiency in asynchronous programming, multithreading, and design patterns.
- Possess experience with complex, high-performance systems in Java.
- Understanding of Ad-Tech and oRTB is advantageous.
A Day in the Life:
- Collaborate with Product and Business teams to define requirements with Publishers.
- Implement features that span multiple teams within the Ad Tech Organization.
- Work with Product Engineers to design features that align with business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of design or architecture experience in both new and existing systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
