Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer

STAND 8 Technology Services is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing our AWS environment, supporting our development teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage AWS Tickets and support developers in troubleshooting issues with their cloud solutions
  • Contribute to the architecture and management of our cloud infrastructure for cloud-hosted contact center solutions primarily in AWS
  • Stay up-to-date with core cloud operational configurations, including permissions settings, resource management, usage scripting, service selection, monitoring, and alerting methods
  • Contribute to DevOps practices, including software development templates, development pipeline operations, deployment automation, and cloud operations methods and scripts
  • Recommend security practices and limit vulnerabilities
  • Develop and deploy cloud solutions using NodeJS, React, and container deployment
Requirements:
  • BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
  • Full-stack engineer with 3+ years of commercial software development experience in NodeJS and React or similar languages
  • 1+ years of experience developing/deploying SaaS applications in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or other public cloud environments
  • Experience with deploying cloud solutions, administrative procedures, and configuration for Windows and Linux operating environments
  • Knowledge and skill in developing web user interfaces in ReactJS, with other advanced web tools and techniques such as AngularJS a plus
  • Practical experience deploying or developing with Genesys APIs and Genesys Cloud integrating to various customer environments/back-end systems using Genesys SDKs (PSDK, WFM API, IceLib, ICWS, GWS) a big plus
  • Experience with design and development of tools for managing infrastructure and experience with programmed clean and re-usable code
  • Demonstrate solid analytical programming and problem-solving skills, including software operation diagnostics
  • Agile mindset
  • Good working experience with database administration/optimization
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and deployment with automated testing
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently on routine duties or projects with general instructions on new assignments
Additional Details:

The base range for this contract position is $80 - $90 per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
