Job Overview

  • Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for managing various aspects of front office operations, including patient registration, pre-certification, charge capture, and accurate coding of diagnoses.

  • Liaison Function

    As a liaison between patients and medical support staff, you will greet visitors promptly, check in patients, verify insurance information, obtain signatures, and assist with ambulatory difficulties.

  • Outpatient Billing Process

    You will research all necessary information to complete the outpatient billing process, code procedures performed, enter charge information into the database, distribute billing information, and assist with error resolution.

  • Collection Actions

    As part of your responsibilities, you will review accounts to ensure timely payment, perform collection actions by contacting patients via phone, resubmit claims, evaluate patient financial status, establish budget payment plans, and participate in educational activities.
