Job Title: EHS Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EHS Supervisor to join our team at O'Neal Manufacturing Services (ONI Company) in Fayette, AL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our facility adheres to environmental, health, and safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety among our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all EH&S current and developing country and location regulations, codes, and key constraints.
  • Work with the location and corporate EH&S Team to develop and implement standardized programs to maintain full compliance with EH&S regulations and standards to meet/exceed metrics.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS best practices and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on EH&S performance metrics and compliance status to upper management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Assure proper recordkeeping of results in all areas and develop effective and efficient reporting mechanisms that meet the regulations and inform the leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an EHS role, with a strong understanding of AS9100 standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.

Salary: $45.19/hour
